Mad Millie Probiotic Yogurt
Make your own delicious probiotic yogurt (or soy yogurt, or Greek style / yogurt cheese) at home. Perfect for beginners and advanced users with all ingredients and equipment included. The culture provided in this kit allows you to make 10 litres (10 quarts) of yogurt.
Kit Contains: Butter Muslin, 1 sachet of Probiotic Yogurt Culture (enough for 10 L of milk/yogurt), Sterile Culture Storage Pottle, Stainless Steel Thermometer, Kit Instructions and Recipe Booklet to make Greek Yogurt, Soy yogurt and Probiotic Yogurt Cheese.
Note: The culture provided in this kit does contain a very small amount of dairy.
If using fresh milk, the milk needs to be heated to boiling point before cooling it down, this denatures the proteins in the milk to stop the yogurt from going lumpy.
Shelf life of the cultures is 24 months when stored in freezer. This culture lasts out of the freezer (at room temperature) for 3 months so will be fine during postage. However, we suggest storing cultures in the freezer as soon as you get them in order to prolong the life of the culture.
